RESEARCH
My research interests are in methodological problems and issues in genetics, bioinformatics, and aging and human development. Also, I actively promote the ethical practice of biostatistics in translational research through the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), and I have written a seminal paper on the ethics in biostatistics. I serve as the lead statistician for the Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies. I have both original methodological papers in microarray analysis and collaborative study articles on gene expression analyses, and I have been awarded a KL2 Career Award to pursue research in statistical genomics. Also, I have extensive experience in the design and analysis of basic science and clinical research studies as a statistical collaborator on numerous projects that led to over 30 publications.
