Juan Pablo Palavicini, PhD has received an award from the Alzheimer’s Association Research Grant (AARG) program for the project titled “PLCG2 AD variants in microglial lipid metabolism and calcium signaling“.  Dr. Palavicini is an Assistant Professor/Research with the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies and the Department of Medicine, Division of Diabetes in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine.
