Juan Pablo Palavicini, PhD has been awarded an SNPRC Pilot Award for his project “Preventing ceramide accumulation as a novel clinically relevant treatment for metabolic syndrome: proof of concept pilot study in a non-human primate model.” Dr. Palavicini is an Assistant Professor/Research with the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies and the Department of Medicine in the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine.
