Dr. Rebeca Wong has been voted as an Honorary Member of the Academy by the National Academy of Medicine in Mexico. Dr. Wong, a social scientist, was recognized for her important work to advance research on aging in Mexico. The Academy says, “An honorary academic title is conferred to professionals with a scientific reputation and distinguished trajectory of work to advance knowledge, give back to society, serve academia, and collaborate in the international arena.”
Dr. Wong is a professor and investigator with the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies.
