Congratulations to Xianlin Han, PhD and Lizhen Chen, PhD on their R01 grant!

Dr. Xianlin Han and Dr. Lizhen Chen have received an R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health for their project titled “The role of sulfatide in the development of tauopathy in the context of ADRD.”  They are multi-PIs on the award, along with Dr. Jeffrey Dupree, an associate professor with Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Han is a professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Diabetes and an investigator with the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies.

Dr. Chen is an associate professor in the Department of Cell Systems and Anatomy and an investigator with the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies.
